Kameraden im VII. Korps! is a rare commemorative Nazi photo book produced for men of the German VII Korps who participated in the invasion and occupation of the Sudetenland in 1938. It has photos taken by members of the German Seventh Corps propaganda company during the operation and was published for the Generalkommando VII by Verlag Knorr & Hirth, München late in 1938.

The 6 x 8-½ inch, softcover 60-page book starts with a photo of Adolf Hitler above the oath of allegiance of German soldiers, followed by a foreword and photo of the Commanding General of Armeekorps VII and Head of Wehrkreis VII, Eugen Siegfried Erich Ritter von Schobert (who died in a Fieseler Storch landing on 12 September 1941 near Nikolajew in the southern Ukraine when the plane hit a Soviet landmine).

The photos cover training, soldier life, ski championships, mountain troop training, Wehrmacht horses, messenger pigeons and dogs, troops marching into Austria, troops participating in the parade during Hitler's visit to Innsbruck, girls giving flowers to Wehrmacht soldiers, troops marching into the Sudetenland being greeted by jubilant Sudeten Germans, General von Schobert with General Hartmann, German generals on horseback, Wehrmacht motorcycle troops, Reichsstatthalter General Ritter von Epp, etc., etc.

Officers of the German Seventh Corps were the honor guard at the funeral of General Erich Ludendorff in 1937 (shown above) and there are also photos of their presence during the state visit of Benito Mussolini to Adolf Hitler in 1937.  The fine photo content in this rare book is not found in other Third Reich publications.

This 82 year old example of Kameraden im VII. Korps! comes with a rare pre-publication announcement (shown left) with order information for members of the Wehrmacht or private citizens. The book is complete and in very good used condition. No odor.
