It has chapters about the application process, and explanations about different ranks and career opportunities in the Kriegsmarine such as coxwain, topographer, artillery mechanic, radio teletypewriter, firefighter, torpedo mechanic, administration, medical, naval artillery, to name just a few. Education and its costs are covered, and the last chapter is about shore service.

This is a 4-3/4 x 6-7/8 inch, 24-page Kriegsausgabe or war edition of Wie komme ich zur Kriegsmarine with many photos and tables. Inside the back cover is a 13 inch long color fold-out of a U-Boot or Nazi submarine by Korvettenkapitän Max Bartsch dated 1939.
The 83 year old booklet is in very nice, little-used condition complete with the often-missing submarine color fold-out. Tight spine, no odor.
