This is a complete set of 20 original Nazi photo postcards in their original tan protective folder with the title München Hauptstadt der Bewegung (Munich Capital of the Nazi Movement) on its cover. Each postcard measures 3-1/2 x 5-3/8 inches and the tan card stock folder measures 3-5/8 x 5-1/4 inches.
This Leporello example produced by Münchener Bildkunstverlag August Lengauer is complete with all its unused 20 Postkarten. Condition exactly as shown, no odor.
Undated but produced after 1936 when the House of German Art (shown below) was completed.
Postcard subjects in this souvenir set of the "prettiest views” of Munich include the coffins of the Nazi Putsch martyrs in the Ehrentempel, the Führerbau and NSDAP Verwaltungsbau on the Königlicher Platz, the NSDAP monument on the Feldherrnhalle on the Odeonsplatz, the Hofbrauhaus, the Army Museum, Deutsches Museum, House of German Art, Town Hall on the Marienplatz, Bavaria Monument, Nymphenburg, Maximilianeum, and several other well-known sights and views.

Postcards were popular souvenirs for soldiers and other travelers in the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler, especially for visitors the “Nazi Capital”. However, most postcard in sets like the one offered on this USMBOOKS web page were sent as greetings to friends or family, or glued in a photo album.
