The author of this Benito Mussolini biography, Giorgio Pini, was an Italian World War I veteran, a well-known journalist and Fascist politician.
Pini was most noted in Fascist Italy for his biography of Il Duce, Benito Mussolini. This 4-3/4 x 6-3/4 ich, 64 page soft cover example was translated in to German by Lisa Rüdiger and was printed in 1942 (XX, the 20th year of Mussolini's Fascist Rule) and published by Verlag für Sozialpolitik, Wirtschaft un Statistik in Berlin.
The book covers the Forli area where Mussolini was born in poverty, his personality and drive, his rise to power, the March on Rome, the Fascist rise to power in Italy, his historic visit to Adolf Hitler in Berlin, the Berlin-Rome Axis, Italy's war in Albania and entry in to World War II, the 1941 death of his son, pilot Bruno Mussolini, his hard work which resulted into a much higher standard of living in Italy, etc.
The text is fairly anti-American and anti-Semitic at times. Complete and in very good used condition.
