This is a completely original, very unusual piece of World War II history. It is a cast aluminum grave marker that was once attached to a stone to mark the grave of ITALIAN SAILOR ANATOL MASSER who was born 30 August 1920 and died on 25 December 1943. We suspect that after the war the remains of Italienische Marinesoldat Masser were dug up and returned to Italy, explaining why this German grave marker came into the possession of the German we bought it from.
The marker is made of cast aluminum with the background painted black, and the raised lettering sanded off to provide contrast. Absolutely authentic! Very good condition.
This genuine Third Reich grave marker is offered for sale
for $95.00 delivered by Standard Mail in the continental USA.
