Deutsche Justiz Rechtspflege und Rechtspolitik is the official magazine of the German justice system published by Dr. Franz Gürtner, the Nazi Minister of Justice in Berlin (and the man whose influence within the Bavarian judicial system helped Hitler after the failed 1923 Putsch in receiving a fairly short sentence instead of a death sentence for treason). Oberstaatsanwalt Dr. Karl Krug at the Reichsjustizministerium (the Nazi Justice Ministry) was responsible for the content.
Adolf Hitler’s “Commissioner for National Health” Dr. Gerhard Wagner spoke (right) about racial matters in Nazi Germany and praised the groundbreaking anti-Jewish Nuremberg Race Laws of September 1935, protecting the country from "foreign blood" and the influences of "the Jewish enemy".
The last 25 pages contain official releases and announcements of new legal/judicial decisions and regulations. They include announcements about the WHW, NSFK, changes in travel and moving cost declarations, Luftschutz service duty, etc. There are also announcements about promotions and retirements of local judges, the application of German Armed Forces Strafrecht or penal laws in Austria as of 2 September 1938, and several changes to Hunting Laws in Nazi Germany.
Inside the front and back cover of this 8-1/4 x 11-5/8 inch 72-page Nazi justice publication there is advertising from bookstores specializing in judicial publications, insurance companies and hotels and upscale guesthouses all over Nazi Germany.
Hard to find like this issue, complete and in very good, little-used condition. This rare 83 year old Nazi magazine has no writing and no unpleasant odor.
The majority of the content of this 16 September 1938 72-page edition of Deutsche Justiz is a ‘look-back’ on the Parteitag Großdeutschland, the 1938 Nazi Party Day Rally held in Nürnberg. There is a recap of Adolf Hitler’s speeches in downtown Nuremberg and at different events during the Parteitag Großdeutschland, covering subjects such as the National Socialist beliefs, German culture, the State Labor Service, the Hitler Youth and more.
There are also recaps of Nazi Party Day speeches by other high-ranking Nazis such as Deputy Führer Rudolf Hess, Reichsleiter Alfred Rosenberg, Reichsleiter Dr. Hans Frank, Generalinspektor Fritz Todt, Reichsleiter Dr. Dietrich, Reichsleiter Konstantin Hierl, Reichsleiter Darré, Reichsleiter Dr. Robert Ley, Reichsleiterin der NS-Frauenschaft Scholtz-Klink, Reichsjugendführer von Schirach, Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Göring, and Reichspropagandaleiter Dr. Joseph Goebbels.
