Hitler visits his soldiers
Mit den Panzern in Ost und West (With the Armored Troops in the East and West) is a very interesting, well-illustrated Nazi book that is sub-titled “Reports of Experiences by Fellow Fighters from the Polish and French Campaigns in 1939 and 1940”. It contains first-hand accounts by Panzer crewmen of the German Armed Forces who were part of the Wehrmacht invasion of Poland in the fall of 1939 and the invasion of France in 1940. The material was assembled by Oberleutnant Dr. Paul Dierichs, the leader of a Nazi tank Propagandakompanie in cooperation with several war correspondents who traveled with the troops.
