This 8-7/8 x 11-3/4 inch, 46-page heavily illustrated Nazi magazine was published by Sonderdienst des deutschen Verlages in Berlin in 1940. The title Wir Fahren gegen Engelland! (We sail against England!) was popular at the start of World War II and this Third Reich photo magazine familiarizes the reader with details about the first days of the war against England.

After a full-page picture of Adolf Hitler and Admiral Raeder (shown above) there is an explanation why war with England was necessary for Nazi Germany. There are articles about the British air attack on Wilhelmshaven, Kriegsmarine captain Schuhart (responsible for the sinking of the British ship the Courageous), the Lusitania, the U-Boot War Badge, Scapa Flow, Life in a Nazi Submarine, minesweepers, Winston Churchill, trade war and moving English gold bars to the USA, an outline of the British naval fleet, and more.

Wir Fahren gegen Engelland! contains great photographs not found in other Third Reich period books or magazines. Complete, in good used condition with a taped spine, no odor.
