SUPERB 1933
COLOR WINE ADVERTISING
FROM A WINE
COMPANY IN
KOBLENZ THAT
IS STILL IN
BUSINESS TODAY!
This is a wonderful, absolutely original piece of Third Reich wine advertising in the shape of a wine crate that measures 5-¾ x 8-¼ inches. The piece of color advertising fold out to 5-7/8 x 23-¼ inches and was produced for a wine company from Koblenz called Gräfin von Königsmark'sche Weinkellerei, and their motto shown on the label on the front panel was "a shipment of cheerfulness".
The company had a large offering of German white and red wines from vineyards in the Rhine, Mosel, Saar, Ruwer and Pfalz regions in Germany bottled in the years 1928 through 1931. Prices are shown for single bottles but consumers could also buy boxes with 12 bottles, and could return unopened bottles of any variety they did not like!
Aside from regular wine, this rare 5-¾ x 8-¼ inch six-panel piece also lists sparkling wine (Sekt or Champagne) from Germany as well as German brandy. There is delivery and payment information in Reichsmarks and the original order form was never used.
A very fine piece of Nazi era wine advertising in very nice unused condition. No fading, no stains or folds.
The company is still in business today, still selling fine German wines!
