1942 Nazi 3D book Fliegen und Siegen, Raumbild-Verlag Otto Schonstein

In 1942 Raumbild-Verlag Otto Schönstein produced and published the 3D photo book Fliegen und Siegen (Flying and Victory). The hardbound book had tick die-cut covers that contained photographic stereo-view cards and a fold-up metal optical device with which the cards could be viewed, as well as a well-written text by Reichsluftfahrtministerium Ministerialrat Dr. Heinz Orlovius on the subject of Third Reich “Our Luftwaffe” and an introduction by Generalfeldmarschall Erhard Milch.

If you own the photos for the World War II Raumbild book Fliegen und Siegen but not the text and color pictures, this is you chance to complete your set! Very nice condition, no odor.

Offered for sale on this USMBOOKS webpage is the “Our Luftwaffe” text portion of the 1942 Nazi 3D book Fliegen und Siegen complete with the eight original Farbtafeln or tipped in color pictures, including the fine H. Funk painting of Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring, Reichsminister der Luftfahrt und Oberster Befehlshaber der Luftwaffe in his white uniform with the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross and the Pour Le Merit shown above.

The 88 original pages apparently came out of an original Third Reich 3D book, but are now bound in a modern high-quality color cover (see photo near the top of this web page) measuring 8-1/8 x 11 inches, and include the index to the 100 stereo views and the 8 color pictures, as well as advertising by Raumbild-Verlag Otto Schönstein 3D photo books such as Reichsparteitag der Ehre, Großdeutschlands Wiedergeburt, Parteitag Großdeutschland, Der Kampf im Westen, München Hauptstadt der Bewegung and die Olympische Spiele 1936.
