Liftschiff Graf Zeppelin to South America
Above, a rare picture showing departure information for the next voyage of the Luftschiff Graf Zeppelin to South America. Note the price of a ticket, Rm 1400!
German cities are shown in aerial photos taken from zeppelins, as well as Manhattan USA, the Capitol in Washington DC, Rio de Janeiro, arctic glaciers, Cairo and pyramids, etc.

The last four pages are about the Zeppelin Museum itself located on Lake Constance, in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
Zeppelin is sub-titled “A Significant Chapter from the History Book of Aviation”.

After the Introduction, the beautiful 8-1/2 x 10-5/8 inch 80-page hardcover book has chapters covering the early days of the Luftschiffbau Zeppelin Company, developments after World War I and World War II, the construction of Zeppelins, the development of passenger compartments of Zeppelins, LZ 130 - the last Zeppelin built, the Zeppelin in regular passenger air service, the 1929 Zeppelin trip around the world, the 1931 research Zeppelin journey to the arctic, the 1932 LZ 127 Zeppelin trip to Egypt, etc.

Historic images show miscellaneous Zeppelins from every angle - in the air, in hangars, under construction, engines, passenger compartments and the kitchen of LZ 129, LZ 126 at Lakehurst, as well as Zeppelin schematic drawings and Zeppelin research, etc.
This blue linen hardcover German language book has silver blocking on the front cover and spine. It was published in 1968 by Zeppelin-Metallwerke GmbH of Friedrichshafen and comes with its original glossy dust jacket.

Very nice, little-used condition, no odor.
