This is a good used example of the very rare GermanThird Reich hard cover children’s book Das Seemans ABC (The Sailor’s ABC) by Hans Bodenstedt and illustrated by Karl Näthe.
The book was printed by Van Marken’s Drukkerij in Delft for Alfred Hahn’s Verlag in Leipzig without a date, but clearly after the beginning of World War II. British PM Winston Churchill is depicted in a derogatory manner.
The book is complete and superbly illustrated with full-page watercolor prints and lots of smaller pen and ink drawings of the minutia of the Kriegsmarine or German Navy of the time.
