In an era when a great deal of the “Nazi” material offered on the web was made in the last calendar year, we know that many collectors have begun to place great historical value on genuine old pieces that show their heritage and use. Purchased recently from a long-time collector, this is a genuine Third Reich swastika banner that once hung from a lectern or podium in Nazi Germany.

The one-sided seamless cotton banner measures 50 x 85 cm (about 20 x 33 inches) and the white circle with the black swastika sewed in the middle measures 36 cm (14 inches) in diameter. The banner has woven cloth ties sewed to the top, corners and a 4 cm (1-½ inch) silky white fringe sewed the bottom and both sides.

This original Nazi flag is in nice overall condition, with minor soiling exactly as shown in our photos. No fading or odor, and of course, it does not fluoresce or “glow” under black light.

Similar Nazi banners are offered on ‘big name’ militaria websites for around $100.00 more. This one is 100% original and in very nice condition, but realistically priced!
