Jahrhunderts (Six Lectures about Alfred Rosenberg's The Myth of the Twentieth Century) author Friedrich Andersen explains and illuminates in plain-language the famous Nazi bestseller on the racial superiority of Aryan Teutonic peoples. The very anti-Semitic book contains Rosenberg's racial interpretation of history, concentrating on what he considered to be the negative influence of the Jewish race in contrast to the Aryan race.
Der Mythus des XX. Jahrhunderts was second only to Mein Kampf in sales in Third Reich Germany, and Hitler awarded Rosenberg the Deutscher Nationalpreis für Kunst und Wissenschaft (German National Prize for Art and Science) for it on 30 January 1938.
Author Friedrich Karl Emil Andersen was a pastor and theologian, and very anti-Semitic. He was one of the founders of Die Deutschen Christen (DC), a heretical, racist, anti-Semitic variant of German Protestantism that followed the Führerprinzip. He was the editor of religious publications in Schleswig-Holstein and an early Hitler supporter. He became the Schulungsleiter der NSDAP of the city of Glücksburg and in 1937 NSDAP leadership named him Ehrenbürger (Honorary Citizen) of Flensburg.
